Wish I hadn't come - Claims Adjuster Liberty Mutual Insurance Employee Review

Pros

Time off and great co workers

Cons

Training is long but doesn't prepare you for what you're about ready to face in the workforce here. Once training is out they throw you to the "wolves". If you've ever felt bad about yourself, just wait. It'll get worse. I've had to start taking meds about anxiety and I've never had to do that before. I really wish I hadn't left my other job to come here.

We appreciate your review, but we're sorry to see that you wouldn't recommend us based on your experience. We set high expectations for our employees, but we always aim to back up those expectations with training, communication, and manager support. It sounds like you don't feel you are receiving that training and support. We'd encourage you to speak with your manager about your questions and concerns so we can work to make improvements. Thanks again for your post.

Pros

Highly competitive compensation, generous annual bonuses, and excellent bonuses such as 401(k) matching and annual credits, tuition reimbursement, childcare support, affordable healthcare, vision, dental, and additional unique benefits for all stages of life and discounts for fun things like shopping and products that may be of desire!

Cons

It is a competitive place for high performers, but it is motivating and not intimidating in my opinion!

Pros

Diverse culture, work life balance, flexibility

Cons

They go through layoff regularly. Lay offs are massive, whole organizations at a time. They have multiple waves a year. I’m not sure how anything gets accomplished from so much firing and hiring and moving. Whoever’s left takes the burden and realizes they’re next. It’s bad for motivation and productivity.
