Pros
Salary, development of their employees, recognition, upward mobility, and benefits. Vacation days can vary depending on years serviced but a new hire could start with 4 personal days and earn 1.5 days a month for 10 months out of the year. This gradually increases as you work there longer. As a CSR, you could start in the low to mid $30s a year for salary. After 5 years and 2 promotions in service I was at approx $48k. In sales my first year I made salary and bonuses totalling approx $65k. Their recognition programs are second to none!
Cons
If you work in a smaller town or are not willing to relocate upward mobility is minimal. As a service rep, you have little to no flexibility in your schedule in a local office unless you use vacation days or personal days. Heath insurance is expensive and has high deductibles however this is becoming the norm.
