Good Culture but Dead-end - Case Manager II Liberty Mutual Insurance Employee Review

Pros

It is a very nice work life balance here, but it really depends where you are. Sales seems to be a pretty good gig, but in claims where i was there really was very little opportunity for advancement, altough the starting pay was decent for a recent grad. You will need to put in at least 2-3 years in claims before consideration in other departments.

Cons

Can be boring, stifling, a bit stuffy and old fashioned at times. Be careful because it is easy to get comfortable and slip into mediocrity which is certainly tolerated.

Pros

There are no pros to working here. I just thought of one, you have a chance to work remotely so you don’t have to see your toxic, incompetent manager in person every day.

Cons

Toxic, hostile culture Favoritism to the extreme 50-60 hours a week work but get paid for 40 Being forced to give your manager a 9-10 on a survey when they don’t deserve it to avoid fear of retaliation Coworkers crying and having panic attacks on a daily basis Just everything
