pays very well for this kind of work. 45k-65k range for this kind of work is very generous and this prevents low turnover and more quality employees. decent benefits. easy job and not much thought involved. while busy at times, the pace of call volume is much less than the average help desk job.
Cons
unfortunately, everything is scripted. job consists of looking up a solution and applying it. any individual solutions are discouraged even if it means you have to escalate something you normally wouldn't.
