Customer service rep - Licensed Customer Service Representative Liberty Mutual Insurance Employee Review

Pros

Good benefits and reasonable pay.

Cons

Call centers reps are micromanaged to the point of quitting! The metric requirements are insane. Reps are reprimanded and "coached" on things totally out of their control. There is a lot of favoritism in the office when it comes to promotion and time off request.

Pros

Highly competitive compensation, generous annual bonuses, and excellent bonuses such as 401(k) matching and annual credits, tuition reimbursement, childcare support, affordable healthcare, vision, dental, and additional unique benefits for all stages of life and discounts for fun things like shopping and products that may be of desire!

Cons

It is a competitive place for high performers, but it is motivating and not intimidating in my opinion!

Pros

Diverse culture, work life balance, flexibility

Cons

They go through layoff regularly. Lay offs are massive, whole organizations at a time. They have multiple waves a year. I’m not sure how anything gets accomplished from so much firing and hiring and moving. Whoever’s left takes the burden and realizes they’re next. It’s bad for motivation and productivity.
