Pros
Wonderful co-workers, and beautifully taken care of facility and grounds. There is enough parking and the food in the cafes is affordable and tasty. Co-workers are courteous to our patients and their families and anxious to provide excellent care. Co-workers are respectful to each other and are team oriented. Medical equipment is excellent and well maintained and updated regularly.
Cons
Wages are at the low end of the range. New employees are starting at higher,market level salaries and long time employees (5+ years) cap out their salaries. We do not get cost of living raises and are often paid below the new hires rates. However, this hospital does give bonuses each year! We are starting to lose new candidates to other hospitals because our starting pay is below the market value, even though they just announced their most profitable year ever.
