Working at Lemon Yellow has been like a dream come true. I'd heard about how some companies do take care of their employees, typically in Western countries or big MNCs. I never thought that a growing agency like Lemon Yellow could be setting up a benchmark for its culture. I was following Lemon Yellow on social media and was super impressed by its culture. So I applied here and got selected after multiple selection rounds. The whole atmosphere here is super charged and people are absolutely supportive. Our mentors and team leads go extra mile to ensure that we are taken care of and given growth opportunities. No company will give you so much of personal attention.

Can't think of any except the fact that it feels like second home to me.

1. Strong project exposure with opportunities to work on creative and challenging design problems. 2. Talented colleagues and a good environment for learning design thinking and execution. 3. Variety of projects across industries.

The company culture may not suit everyone. There is a strong emphasis on the organization's philosophy and associated practices, including mandatory morning and evening sessions that involve prayers, recitations, and group activities in multiple languages. Participation is generally expected and difficult to opt out of. Work-life balance is a significant concern. Employees are often expected to participate in numerous non-work activities beyond office hours, including cultural events, performances, celebrations, and content creation initiatives. These activities can consume a considerable amount of personal time without necessarily contributing to professional growth or skill development. Friday evenings and other days frequently extend beyond official working hours due to organizational activities. While the official workday may end earlier, employees often stay much later because attendance and participation are strongly encouraged. You might leave office on Saturday around 8:00 on average. There is a culture of high involvement in company initiatives beyond core job responsibilities. At times, it can feel as though personal time and professional boundaries are not adequately respected. Leave and work from home approvals can be difficult to obtain and may require extensive justification. Employees may feel discouraged from using these benefits even when needed. Constructive criticism is not always received well. Raising concerns about processes, culture, or management decisions can sometimes impact working relationships with senior stakeholders. They take it everything personally. Career progression can be slow, with limited opportunities to move up the hierarchy. Growth often depends on long tenures rather than performance alone, which may not align with everyone's career goals. The workforce consists largely of fresh graduates, which can limit exposure to experienced mentorship in some teams.
