Pros

I do not feel any pros to working in this organisation if you join Pune, India centre.

Cons

There are many. 1. Firstly Leapfrog has its headquarters in Nepal. So it is a Nepal centric organisation. 2. No company centric policy. Nepal has its own policy and if you join in India they have their own policy. (regarding reviews, hr portal, bonus. In India you will not get any bonus and Nepal employees will get twice in a year.) 3. No clarity about the project duration from the client. 4. For some people its complete WFH, and for some its not(and it does not depends on project). 5. In India there are only around 15-17 people.

Leapfrog Technology Response

First of all Leapfrog Technology is headquartered in Seattle, not Nepal. Our Nepal office has 400 employees and understandably so since it has a presence in Kathmandu for 15 years. As to the point of 'No Pros if you join Pune center', it is unfortunate that you turned a blind eye on some vital points that we have. These are: 1. Transparency (Critical in building trust and long-term relationships with all the stakeholders) 2. Timely Communication (Often a make-or-break factor) 3. No Micro Management (a strong indicator of maturity and trust within teams) 4. Hybrid model (in fact better than that, as majority of the employees WFO only twice a week since they cater to North American clients). In addition to these, Leapfrog, Pune has a beautiful facility located in WeWork, Baner No client on planet Earth can 'guarantee' the duration of the project. It all depends on evolving business needs, funding, success metrics and pivoting strategies. WFH/Remote vs WFO decisions is based on what suits the business, the project’s demands, and team dynamics. It’s wise to avoid rigid 'one-size-fits-all' policy in favor of adaptable frameworks that serve both the company and its people.

Exposure to working with global clients and diverse technical teams. Management is open to feedback and encourages career growth. Great work-life balance and a positive, people-first environment.

Cons

Limited career progression paths for non-technical roles. Internal communication between departments could be improved.
