Pros
Clear goals to attain, support given to get there, collaborative team effort in reaching goals. Fun work environment and flexibility in getting your work done. Intelligent colleagues which is great for learning and growth.
Cons
Below average salary for experienced and educated Lead Development Reps. It consists of an hourly wage from $13.00 to $15 plus $50.00 per appointment. Some prospects are much harder than others. When you are good at getting appointments you are put on new accounts, once you get the appointment flow going, sometimes you are taken off the account to another new account to get the appointment stream going. This causes your income to go down and another Rep to reap the rewards of your experience. There is little room for growth, although they tell you this in your interviews. I observed in 1.5 years that my colleagues who were just out of college, 3 of them, were the only ones promoted to a different job, although their sales results were below expectations and their time in the LDR was only several months. There were several Leaders that left while I was there and I believe that there is not a clear direction for growth overall at LeadJen
