Pros

Fantastic food, ambience and customers. Legendary, beloved Chicago French institution. Fantastic, steady income and constantly busy. Management very hands off, they let you do your job and don't interfere.

Cons

Negative, toxic, work environment with chronic kitchen vs front of house atmosphere. Some employees lazy, incompetent, uncaring and unprofessional. Drama-filled. Long waits for food. Don't even think about getting sick, nearly impossible to get shifts covered.

I love Jean-Claude, he is like my dad now. He's been in Chicago forever, originally from Macon. Simple french bistro food. The real deal.

Cons

You won't ever want to leave.
