Pros

I've been in the industry for quite some time - and have seen many solutions and executive teams. Once behind the market, Lavante has not only caught up, but is the position to change the Supplier Information Management market. The solution has very few "holes", which the development team is currently closing. Today's offering is solid and can solve the most complex supplier information needs of the largest multinationals, to smaller, less-complex organizations. With a deep background in collecting and leveraging supplier information, Lavante's approach to the technology is both forward-thinking and immediately impactful. Further, each employee has a "whatever it takes" attitude. This permuates though business development, client satisfaction, and development. I understand the struggles of the past, but from my vantage point, that is exactly that... the past. I am confident in Lavante's future.

Cons

With so much market seeking to transform their procurement processes and systems, and knowing that ERP systems cannot solve their current and future needs... Lavante only suffers from not having enough resources to capture the market faster.

Pros

The company has developed a unique new product that addresses important needs in the market and there is significant demand. The recurring revenue model makes it attractive to investors. People here are dedicated and professional in what they do and there is a chance to contribute immediately and make an impact. The company is bringing in new strong people and seems to be gaining momentum.

Cons

The product that the company was founded upon is experiencing a more competitive marketplace. While it is a valuable product, it forces tough decisions about where to focus given it competes for time and dollars with the new product that isn't fully established, but seems to have unlimited potential.
