As a long-time part-time proofreader for Lauchlan, I've had the pleasure of working with the full team of employees, contractors and management at Lauchlan. In my time here, I've seen growth across the staff as a whole (now up to close to 30 people), as well as new processes and technology adoption. For any growing company, growth is not always easy and they've let go team members that aren't able to work effectively with their processes/systems (moreso in the last year) - which makes keeping everyone fully up and trained in QC processes a challenge.
Culturally - the team is close and the company holds management off-sites, trips and regular internal meetings to keep everyone on the same page. A dedicated group, — committed to taking the company to the next level.
Cons
New hires coming on board to handle client growth means keeping all new people up and trained in QC processes which can be a challenge at times.
