Pros

You get a free treatment every month after 90 days of employment

Cons

RUN!!! I accepted this role and within the first week, I was ready to quit. I saw RED FLAGS 🚩 everywhere. Aside from the multiple Glassdoor reviews to run, I landed on their BBB (Better business bureau) rating and wow. It’s an F! Nationwide. With hundreds of unresolved complaints. Even Ideal Image has a B- The business practices are unethical, they have you run the clinic operations and all of the sales and medical staff, with a high personal sales goal and on top of that, work their business development by requiring 100 calls a day to harass customers from an internal lead system and maybe 1/100 picks up. The rest hang up or scream at you to remove from your call list. The metrics are ridiculous but you are mainly just haggling every current patient to buy more and UPSELL at every appointment. These clients are sick of it. The upper and executive management is terrible and they remind you in your 1:1 how “privileged” you are to work for Laseraway and how replaceable you are basically. The PCC’s make terrible pay and I took a huge pay cut with the salary promised that it would return on commissions and store bonuses. NOPE You and your team will be micromanaged every hour of every day. From sales tracking to shouting out every sale on slack, dials, dials, more tracking, clock in, clock out, after hours texts, emails upon emails, national sales calls daily. Ugh. It was exhausting and so not worth the pay. I’ve never left a job so fast in my 20 year sales and leadership career. Byeeeeeee

Pros

Competitive pay and strong training for new aesthetic providers. You’ll gain experience quickly because of the high patient volume.

Cons

LaserAway is a sales company disguised as a medical practice. Revenue consistently comes before patient care and provider well-being. Providers are routinely triple booked, making it nearly impossible to give patients the time and attention they deserve. Rushing through consultations and treatments creates unnecessary stress, increases burnout, and can compromise patient safety. Sales consultants have more influence than licensed medical professionals. Treatments are frequently sold before a provider even evaluates the patient, and nurses are often expected to justify or perform services they may not believe are appropriate. Medical opinions are routinely overshadowed by sales goals. The culture prioritizes quotas, memberships, and packages over ethical, patient-centered care. The PTO policy is extremely poor. Full-time employees receive only about 1.5 weeks of PTO per year, yet you’re expected to keep your schedule open seven days a week. You cannot submit unavailability or reliably schedule appointments in advance without using your already limited PTO. Maintaining any work-life balance is unnecessarily difficult.
