Pros

If you enjoy working with new people every day, you will have that opportunity at Lapin Services. The pay (for some) is good. The hours vary, but normally you hover right around 40 a week. Be wary of sales reps that flagrantly steal from your commission.

Cons

You will never enter the service side and advance. The company is family owned which in itself is fine and good. However, promotions and big jobs (it's all commission pay) go to those with certain last names, or are related somehow to someone in the office. The benefits package is priced with the intent of you not taking it. Commission pay and a revolving door of lower management is detrimental to any real long term financial aims. In my 3 years there, I saw 3 different supervisors. The office has a habit of devouring itself, as any young or fresh talent coming in is either outright fired for petty or manufactured reasons, or quietly relegated to a desk to perform telemarketing. In which case they eventually leave on their own. In one instance I watched a young lady be fired for doing **exactly what she asked permission to do** At the time of this writing, the longest held service worker position is a man that has been there 4 years. The next longest is somewhat less than a year. Take the job if you need it. But I would advise you to always bear in mind that the security of anyone's position that is not related to ownership, or having an intimate relationship with a supervisor is not so great. As I mentioned above, sales reps will steal your commission in a heartbeat. At which point it is up to you to prove that you made the referral. The general manager took over his position after having accrued his experience as a pizza delivery driver. I wish I were making this up.

Pros

The last negative review was left by a scumbag pump-truck driver from another company, he was a bad character and they let him go with good reason. He is using this to just try to get back at them. Been working here for almost 2 years now and they are very fair and helpful.

Cons

None really to speak off.

Pros

None, this company is in shambles

Cons

Working for Lapin was a complete nightmare from day one. The lack of leadership, accountability, and organization within this company is appalling and made every day on the job an exercise in frustration. The absence of effective leadership was glaringly evident. There seemed to be no clear direction or vision for the company, leaving employees floundering and unsure of what was expected of them. Management was virtually nonexistent, with no one taking responsibility for crucial decisions or providing guidance when needed. Accountability was another major issue. Mistakes were brushed aside, and there was a pervasive culture of passing the blame onto others rather than owning up to errors. This lack of accountability fostered a toxic work environment where finger-pointing and scapegoating were the norm. The utter lack of organization made it nearly impossible to perform even the simplest tasks efficiently. There were no established protocols or systems in place, leading to chaos and confusion on a daily basis. Simple tasks would often devolve into time-consuming endeavors due to the disarray within the company. Overall, working for Lapin Services was deeply disappointing. The absence of leadership, accountability, and organization made it clear that this is not a company that values its employees or prioritizes excellence. I would strongly advise anyone considering employment here to proceed with extreme caution, as the frustration and disillusionment are not worth the paycheck.
