Pros
Some colleagues were friendly and supportive.
Annual trip to the races.
Cons
Micromanagement – this seemed to be the default management style, which made it difficult for staff to feel trusted or confident in their roles.
Old-fashioned – company policies felt outdated and lacked flexibility. There was no real option for working from home without having to account for every task completed, which suggested a lack of trust and did not make you feel like a valued employee. The use of modern collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams was also discouraged.
Intimidation Tactics – intimidation was unfortunately used as a management tool, contributing to a stressful and unwelcoming work environment.
High Staff Turnover – staff turnover was noticeably high, and in many cases, those who left were not replaced. This appeared to result from persistent issues that were left unresolved. When concerns were raised, senior management often seemed unwilling to acknowledge their role in the problems, instead shifting blame onto others—often to the individuals affected.
