Pros

Lots of helpful people, you always get help when you ask. I have not encountered any people who would not be friendly, regardles of the position, people are asking how I'm doing and is there anything that I need help with. Tech Stack is modern and everyone has the opportunity influence to that. Projects are mainly big and provides suitable amount of challenges. You can really learn new things here and challenge yourself, technical expertise is at a very high level.

Cons

We need even more people as the organization is growing rapidly, especially more senior level. I feel that the situation is quite typical when the company is growing fast, some things are difficult to avoid. Some juniors may have experienced inadequacy because some projects and tasks can be very demanding even though help is provided.

Pros

Colleagues and team spirit in my team is brilliant! Projects and customer cases are ever changing and challenging. Lamia approach is genuinely multidiciplinary and every team member's point of view is valued.

Cons

The company is constantly growing and faces challenges with resourcing. This brings unfortunately pressure also to individual Lamiateers. But it seems to me that the management is trying to solve the issues the best they can.

Pros

My closest colleagues are nice and helpful. Overall the developers are fun to work with. Team leads and business people etc are nice too, and I think they care about the people and company. It’s culturally diverse and racism is almost nonexistent. You can tell recruitment focus is on cultural fit. People and office parties are fun. It’s ok if you are interested in webshop development. Customers are mostly decent and good to work with. Recent projects have been a bit more stable and easier to work with than older projects.

Cons

People are not well. There are a lot of sick leaves because of burnout. Project work is usually non-organised, chaotic. It is bit like a cult. In interviews talent acquisition says they only employ people who really want to work there. People are underpaid. If you try to negotiate more salary, you are told that they do not want people who are after the money. Coding interview assignments are laborious and bit non-relevant. People are not treated fairly. If you’re friends with the owners / top management it’s ok. You can get more salary, power, new positions etc. If you’re not their friend it’s worse. Sometimes people are slowly stripped off their responsibilities and tasks and even bullied so that they would leave the company. As somebody else wrote before this is sad to see. Top management is not working and communicating openly. They promise you something and then do something else behind your back. There has been basically no communication recently and many people are confused. There was a big change some time ago and they kept saying how nothing changes. It gives the impression that things are being hidden.
