Pros

Great co-workers, a pay-check, and that's it.

Cons

Management neglects their inside sales reps. You are treated like a second-class citizen. There is no career growth at their North Texas office, only at their HQ in San Antonio. No bonuses, advance training, or motivation. Your over worked co-workers are assigned to train you but are flooded with stress and emails. They are great people but are limited with their time in helping. You will not gain any responsibility that will help you negotiate your value. You are taught very limited functions of a job. Making it harder for your value as a "partner" to increase. They demand absolute loyalty and want their workers to dedicate long years for them. If they sense you might not spend decades, they won't hire you. If you want to grow career wise this is not the place. DO NOT tell them you are planning on doing higher education (Masters, etc.), training for new skills, or anything to make your skills set grow. They view it as a threat. In the sense that you might be looking for another job due to the fact that you are learning. They will question you about it. The co-workers to their credit try their best to make it a professional fun culture, but management disagrees and create a hostile environment. You would think co-workers getting along and working together is great, but they see it as "not being productive." Any sense of camaraderie is crushed. They also want you to be a robot with zero tolerance for mistakes. They expect you to be perfect and if mistakes continue due to lack of training. They start forming an idea that you are "as worthless as they come." As salespeople they pick their words very carefully, praising one day and despising you the next. If you have career goals, love to learn, dream big, want to make an impact, or in general want to grow. This is not the place for you at their North Texas Office. If are comfortable with the bare minimum this is a job for you. Take your hard-earned degree somewhere it'll be appreciated.
