Pros

None. There are no positives.

Cons

Beware! This company will scam you! They are scammers! When I "worked" there, they got me to fill out an ABN and they tried to spin it as a positive. Saying that "You're your own boss" and that you "got to choose your own hours" Never mind the fact that the only way to make money by actually doing your job, was to spend 15 hour days door-knocking (which you're not supposed to do) I can only thank gods that the ATO is cracking down on this trash. So hopefully these people already been caught out for their slimy practices. They are a pyramid scheme! The only way to make money was to recruit other people. And if you question them on the reviews, they will lie to your face and say "it's not really door-knocking" and that "we do events." What they mean by "events" is that you'll be working in a shopping center trying to sign people up for charity subscriptions. Stay far away from them, they are scumbags. Do not EVER do business with this company. Don't work for them, don't pay for their "services." They will swindle you out of every penny.

Pros

Throws you out of your comfort zone and teaches you to work hard, while developing interpersonal skills. Knocking 150 doors a day can seem daunting, but they train you well enough to have the motivation and confidence to do it.

Cons

Recruitment process: did not know job entailed door knocking and was 100% commission-based until final phase of recruitment. During the previous recruitment stages, CEO would merely go on about how LMC was planning to expand into 6 different countries within a year, how you could be a manager (on 100k+) within 6 months, how the clients are huge multinationals, etc. He never actually said what the job entailed, which was deceiving. Cultish culture: Don't get me wrong, there are some awesome guys there. But the preday ritual of pumping each other up by yelling out and cheering the 'high rollers' of yesterday and watching motivational videos on YouTube is kinda creepy. Hard hours: Nothing more soul destroying than working 8am-8:30pm and not making a sale, on top of that you have to pay your own travel expenses to the suburbs you'll be door knocking. Dodgy invoices: Was told you make $100 a sale, I made 4 sales in my first week but got paid $347.55. The invoice did not state anything except the amount I was getting paid. A proper invoice should state and itemise exactly what the payment is for, what offsets (if any), etc. I tried to query this but was palmed off.

Pros

Made you think it is a proper Marketing job

Cons

And it is not. All lies. First interview was not really an interview. only a few questions that I doubt if the interviewer even cared. He was telling about how big the company is and how it is going to expand fast and he needs plenty of new people and need new managers. Then until the final round of the interview to find out you are nothing but a poor soul go knocking on people's door trying to get theỉr bank account. The young guy who was "crew manager" - was supposed to be the judge of the final round - did not even appear professional and he could not even keep the language clean. I would rather from day 1 they tell me hey, you are gonna go to 140 houses knocking on their door under the piercing sun at your own expense and we will not care if you put in all effort and don't get no sales, there is no base salary so if you make no sales you are gonna sleep under the bridge and eat sands to pass days. But who knows, IF they were HONEST, I might have given it a try. But trying to hide and deceive people,... that's low.
