Toxic environment - Shipping and Receiving LISTA Employee Review

Great environment. Very good benefits

Limited upward mobility. Threat of consolidation in future.

Stability. Purchased and wholly owned by Stanley Black and Decker. Good benefits (even if they are Cigna). New solar panels over employee parking lot. Electric vehicle chargers at the front of the building (free I think).

Stanley GTS is clearly moving this facility to a manufacturing only facility. All non manufacturing positions are no longer being hired here, instead they are being hired in Allentown, PA. Soon there will be no on-site customer support, which will lead to a disconnect between the product and the support staff. Because upper management is located in Allentown there is no understanding of how Lista did things before the buy-out, so incompatible policies are being handed down without a real understanding of the consequences. Mid-upper management clearly under-values the office employees but hides it well. Being told that the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas that "if you want to leave early, come in at 7, don't eat lunch, and you can leave at 3." is just cold. When I started at Lista employees got a Thanksgiving turkey and the trimmings as a holiday gift. This year we got a $25 gift card to a local supermarket. Talk about a culture shift!
