Pros

- While still being a small, women owned business, they get a stab to contracts that will maintain you busy. - Benefits are slightly better, PTO accrual is good. Most of HQ employees WFH so that has been a positive - There is opportunity to grow ( very difficult but eventually) however there are some contingencies to be met...

Cons

- Exectuive Team needs to be more involved with their HQ employees, relying on 1 or 2 employees out of a entire department will burn your top performers down. - Recognition: While not a "big" focus in the eyes of the COO, President and CEO; recognizing employees for their hard dedication and work will always be a positive. A email from HR with a nice edit made on Microsoft Paint is not always the answer. - Transparency: A big factor for a small business. Open communication and informing employees of changes and processes. In the past few months, transparency has been lacking, which causes a sense of uncertainty. Though HR tries to strive for "communications" via emails, the best advice is for Executive Team to actually bother to engage with their employees and share what is going on with the company. Retention: Perhaps something the Executive Team really brushes off the most as they may feel they can "find" talent (for cheaper)... however you cannot "buy" professionalism, passion, and attention to the job, which divides a "good" employee from a "great employee". There are no "senior" employees left, everyone on the mid to lower tier (including COO, HR, and Operations) have around 2.5 years with the company. Retaining your top talent is important, I hope the Executive Team works hard to retain the new crew that will come in. Culture: Unfortunately this is a change that has forced people out of LIS Solutions. LIS, a Language company that had diverse cultures and customs within their HQ employees, is not any longer. This is now a Caucasian dominant company. - There is no PTO Buyback. Please use your well earned PTO as you wont get when you leave. - Organization: A challeneg the Executive Team and the Director of Operations need to spear head on the best way possible. There are miscommunications between channels, lack of organization and poor sense of urgency. Please work on this as it is frustrating to deal with issues that can be resolved with the correct remedials.

Pros

The culture is fantastic and collaborative. My colleagues are genuinely great people. I've had the opportunity to learn a lot and develop new skills, and the company offers good opportunities for career growth. While the work can be challenging at times, the overall experience has been very positive. I appreciate the work-life balance and the flexibility offered by the company.

Cons

It was challenging at times finding quality support.
