Pros
Transparent and communicative leadership that happens often. Fair and competitive compensation. Healthy autonomy in our roles and what we do. Opportunity to be autonomous and creative. Voices matter. Generous PTO and good benefits. Value on work/life balance and mental well-being. Financial incentives for additional earning potential. Consistent leadership - I've had 4 Directors in 6 years due to re-org (none left the company, but changed teams) which sounds bad but every single one were as good as the one before. All were consistently supportive, experienced and talented leaders who were awesome!
Cons
Success isn't immediate. You have to enter this job understand it will take time and constant/continuous activity and effort. You have to be comfortable cold calling, networking, hunting/gathering. You have to be patient, driven and strategic to work smart. Advancement opportunities are limited but they exist.
