Pros
- Overall I feel well compensated and valued by my direct supervising executive director - Opportunity for health credits to lower insurance premiums - No weekends - Our core team has been together for a while which makes our processes efficient - PTO accural is generous with cash out opportunities, not issues using PTO either
Cons
- Insurance options are expensive considering we work for a healthcare company - Can't retain nurses nor a large team of sales associates - If there's not enough business they want you to use PTO to make up their potential losses, but when there's too much business they expect you to work over productivity. - Coverage areas have expanded and you are expected to cover other locations if they are over productive which means more drive time - Upper management lacks the overall understanding of how a good sales agent, good scheduler, and retaining nurses, etc. Are important for keeping other members of the team productive. - Upper management is fixated on numbers and revenue, and will go so far as to disregard the importance of employee retention and how it plays a role in effectiveness and revenue in the long run. So we have a high turnover because upper management can't see the forest through the trees.
