Pros

The agency staff is supportive

Cons

The sales staff us a joke. Keyboard warriors. More concerned with checking their boxes of how many useless emails and conference calls they can put you on in a day. They take sales out if the field constantly and don't leave you alone to do your job. VERY MICROMANAGED. You work hard for referrals on only a few payors you get credit for, then when you think you've met your goal, they swoop in at the last minute and change the rep getting credit. By the time you notice it, they claim it's too late, numbers are in. Then they climb you as to why you're not meeting your goal. The VERY senior managers like to hear themselves talk, more then they help anyone. Too busy to answer calls, emails, or questions. And if they don't like your question, then they really ignore you. Sales is a carrot game. They dangle it, and just when your about to reach it, they jerk the string and move it further away. Do yourself a favor and get another job with another company.

Pros

Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

Cons

Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
