Pros

The ability to work remotely is nice, but truly doesn’t outweigh the cons

Cons

My experience with the sales team got worse every month/quarter that went by. There was constant change with no real plan at the expense of us employees. The first month is spent “training” but it’s a waste of time, it’s not role specific and too general to be effective. In addition, the company is shady at the top, head guy is a narcissist and somehow hasn’t been fired even though no one respects him. Instead they laid off 70% of the outbound team, including their best reps to save money on well-deserved raises and promotions. Management lies about everything and are so under qualified I would get secondhand embarrassment when they would speak. The layoffs were done in such an unprofessional way beginning with another shift in business approach (they had us calling literal dead people, past clients of an old software they had acquired) then lying to us about “mandatory training” that we had to block our calendars off for but it was actually just to keep our calendars clear for a random 5-15 minute boot from the company with no explanation or accountability. The layoffs sucked but I’m so happy to be out of such a dumpster fire of a company.

Pros

- Flexible working arrangements, remote but there is an office if you wish to go in. - Lots of opportunities to work on interesting projects and have visibility. - Kind and genuine exec team. The structure feels flat and everyone is very approachable. - Everyone is responsive, helpful and solutions focused. - Great HR function - we had a company retreat last year, there is a mentorship program.

Cons

- The US team only has so much control over the product and strategy, since the HQ is in Sydney -Work is relatively fast-paced, but its reasonable compared to most other workplaces.

Pros

LEAP has what use to be a strong product and a huge market presence, especially in the legal-tech space. The work itself can be interesting, and many colleagues across regions are talented, driven, and genuinely want to help clients. The challenges are mostly global culture.

Cons

There is little consistency across teams, and a lot depends on which manager you end up with. Burnout is extremely common. HR is not willing to address issues, so problems repeat. It’s not an environment where people feel supported, and internal behaviour doesn't reflect the values advertised publicly.
