5yHello. We’re sorry to hear your thoughts about your time at LANDR, specifically related to the lack of diversity and attention to minorities. As an organization, we are committed to the safety, well-being and inclusivity of our employees. We work hard to ensure that everyone feels included and heard. We take pride in the fact that our environment is inclusive and take care to hire and promote employees regardless of age, race or gender. We consistently work to make sure that our employees feel welcome at all times.
The Black Lives Matter movement has shaken the world, and we at LANDR are not immune. In determining how to respond to the events following the death of George Floyd, we felt we needed to balance taking action with acknowledging that we don’t have all the answers. This is why LANDR took time to get input from multiple individuals before making a public call for all of us to educate ourselves further and provided resources for doing so. Privately, we also donated to support a local Black rights activism group. Finally, last year LANDR formed an internal independent Diversity committee to hold the company accountable and to help make sure we’re constantly making strides to improve ourselves and the world around us. It is this committee that we called on to help us craft a longer term plan to ensure that our actions were not just a one-time reaction.
Our management and HR teams are committed to addressing any and all instances of racism. This is why we were so sorry -- and surprised -- to hear that you felt unsupported with regards to instances of microaggression. To the best of our knowledge, all employee concerns have always been investigated and addressed. However, if you feel that this was not the case, we would ask you to please communicate the details of these events to members of our HR and/or executive teams so that we can ensure these issues are resolved. Even if you have already left the company, if there are issues we are unaware of, we can at least aim to resolve them so that no one else experiences this.
Finally, with regards to pay raises and promotions, these are awarded based on an employee’s annual performance review, internal equity, as well as the current market trends, to make sure our employees are properly compensated.
