The flexibility of working with the organization.

It was only a summer job and I could only make so much money.

It was an honor to be picked by this organization to participate in a public art program. The visibility was great, and I felt like there was a huge focus on marketing and creating visibility for the work.

The focus on marketing sometimes felt disproportional to the actual support getting the project done. As a first time artist, I was not familiar with many of the terms used, the expectations, and needed assistance understanding how to navigate or find resources. At times, when I was not familiar with an aspect of project delivery, it was done for me without too much transparency, rather than done with me.
