Pros
1. Great Flex Ability 2. Up to 160 Hours of PTO approval at first level supervisor, 200 Hours of PTO approval at second level supervisor 3. Unlimited (40 hours is the guideline though) of Sick Time, no doctor's note required
Cons
1. No matter how much harder you work than the people around you in similar positions, you will get no more than 0.5% additional raise at the end of the year and promotions are based purely on time at the company rather than skill set. 2. No set promotion cycle, at one point a promotion cycle did not occur for several quarters. 3. Engineers hired from outside the company (and new college graduates) are often given salaries 10%+ higher than a current employee. 4. Hard work is punished with positions that allow limited PTO windows.
