Their compensation strategy is designed to be mediocre. All pay and benefits are targeted for EXACTLY the 50th percentile/ market median. This policy allows you to survive, but not thrive. Slow to move. You could have a multimillion dollar idea that goes nowhere because, "We've never done that before," / "That's not how we do it."
