Pros

Awesome treatment of customer. The way I would want to be treated as a customer. The company hires great talent and has terrific brand loyalty in the market.

Cons

Treatment of store-level employees is atrocious at times. Especially during the holidays and when quotas aren't being made. The people making it really happen on the sales floor with the customers receive gift cards while everyone above receives the "real" bonus. There is way to many "cliques" and corporate politics are the worse. Their open door policy is not so open door and their third party "ethics" hotline does nothing but file reports with corporate HR. If you don't fit into a preconceived "brand image" kiss any upward movement goodbye.

Pros

If you are smart and willing to do whatever it takes, you will get promoted. If you find the right mentor, your development will be a priority. If you love retail, this is the place for you.

Cons

Hope you get lucky with your manager and director and VP because if you end up in the wrong department on the wrong category, the environment is toxic.
