I had worked at Kwik Trip for quite some time- at 3 Dif stores & st first I liked my job. The stores for the most part are all pretty much the same poor store leaders!! They get away with a lot of crap because dist leaders and corporate has NO CLUE!! They sit in the office & BS- Eat (which coworkers get a 10 min break to do & Rarely get it- or get interrupted!! They leave the store supposedly to go get supplies or whatever & are gone for hours at a time!! They work NO holidays or weekends & usually take 3 or even 4 day weekends!! And they get all the praise & perks Extreme favoritism and harassment- mean treatment from store leaders as well as nasty rude asst. leaders and it is basically ignored by upper management In fact dist leaders dont listen to workers concerns or complaints at all- they side with store leaders & justify their actions. The store leaders & kitchen leaders get all the credit for ALL THE WORK that the Coworkers do Our particular store leader never has a nice thing to day to anyone and no-one gets compliments or any time of Positive remarks/praise Very very hostile unpleasant & stressful environment! Even many guests have made such comments The store is Always short handed & there is a lot of work for so little help making Customer Service very lacking & poor There is a list for every shift which is a complete joke- also causing fighting & contention among shifts & coworkers The kitchen is Always a priority which makes no sense- customer service should Always be the #1 priority Too bad this company is losing its “base”- its is just growing too fast and losing its focus on what is really important and the factors that the company was founded on I firmly believe its going to catch up to them- it already is/has and its going to hurt them in the long run
