Pros

nice benefits an alright job if youre a full-time employee weekly paychecks

Cons

they dont hire fulltime employees. kroger makes it almost impossible to earn full-time status. part-timers do alot of work for very little pay and even less hours promotions are given based on how brown your nose is, not competence benefits change constantly but employees are rarely informed about them. so finding and paying doctors is a real chore. constantly introducing new policies and practices that do nothing but take time away from actually doing your job. constantly cutting hours to the point where it is impossible to complete work within the allotted time. then try to reprimand the workers because they each can only do the workload of two people when management wants them to do the work of three pay is the lowest of any grocery chain in the area

Pros

• Generally work with fantastic people. • Work is not difficult, and time flies when busy. • My bosses collaborated with me to create a schedule that worked, as I often had other commitments. • Overall, a pleasant work experience most days. Get good at what you do and you'll do fine.

Cons

• Some of the senior management was less friendly than others - as to be expected. • Days were very volatile; some could be extremely easy, and others could be a nightmare. • Scheduling was kept rather limited; although I was able to get the hours I wanted, often times management would look to cut hours from departments whenever possible, leaving less support.
