Pros
Part of a union, starting pay $15 an hour
Cons
hours were not guaranteed. asked that you give two weeks if you quit and told you that you had to give 30 days notice to request off but they only give you your schedule one week at a time. every department is severly understaffed and they pull people from other departments to help front end and grocery. there is no room to grow, oh and if you get injured, they dont do light duty so you either have to quit or they find a reason to fire you. supposedly the ac and heat is controlled in ohio but they dont care if people pass out. oh and if you push carts and its below zero, and you beg to come in, "sorry we just dont have any coverage right now and we really need carts" never mind that their cart pushers fingers are turning purple. and if you get sick, they make you feel like your the bad guy. they have shuffle people around in departments without telling them then wonder why those same people dont want to work. if your good at your job, dont let them know because they will work you till you cant work no more. oh and you can only have 3 unexcused absences. even if your town gets hit by a tornado and the roads to that town are blocked off because of debris they will count that against you. and if you have any ideas on how to make your job better, they will pretend to listen and then tell you that they will get back to you but never do. oh yah and when you first start working, you get your first two paychecks as paper even if you fill out the direct deposit. i hired in at march of 2025 and didn't get direct deposit till june of 2025 because they lost 2 of my checks in the mail and i said something and then went through the chain till someone actually did something.
