Pros
The work is easy if you're in decent shape. Pay was $17/hr, not bad for the area especially considering no experience or education is required. Hiring process was quick and easy. No drug test. Health insurance was decent according to full time employees. Will hire anyone, won't fire you if you keep showing up when scheduled. 10% off kroger brand items and double fuel points.
Cons
Demonstrate any degree of competence and they will give you more responsibility with no increase to your pay. Some of the employees were dead weight and management didn't address it. Veteran employees (one with 3 and the other with 9 years at that location) who were effectively shift leads were paid the same as me, a new hire. So outside of management there's no where to go. Schedule was constantly changing, no two weeks were the same. Difficult to become full time.
