Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn't match the one we'd hope every employee has.
We appreciate you recognising the technical challenges, the talented people you worked alongside, and the onboarding experience. Those are all things we're proud of, and it's disappointing to hear that they were ultimately outweighed by other aspects of your time with us.
While we won't comment on individual circumstances, we know that people can leave with very different experiences. Feedback like yours is important because it helps us reflect on where we can improve, particularly around communication, career development and ensuring expectations are clear.
On holiday, our aim is to give people flexibility rather than closely manage when they take leave. Employees have visibility of their holiday entitlement and usage through HiBob, and we encourage everyone to manage this throughout the year with support from their manager where needed. That said, we recognise that policies are only helpful if they're well understood, and we've recently introduced our global employee handbook and Kraken HQ to make information easier to find and more consistent across the business. If that isn't enough, please reach out to #people-ops-help and work with us on how we could be doing more.
We know we won't get everything right, and we're continually working to improve the employee experience now that we've recently separated from OE. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective, and we wish you all the best for the future.
