Pros

Well-known in executive search Flexible work-from-home policy Decent compensation compared to local market standards Less micromanagement, allowing autonomy in day-to-day work

Cons

Promotions and growth often depend more on relationships (especially within Lebanese nationals) than on merit. KF Middle East is heavily dominated by Lebanese and Indian professionals, which can lead to insular team dynamics and favoritism Limited career development support and mentorship (They don't invest in your learning but rather expect you to deliver on day 1) Weak project management structure leads to confusion and workload issues (You work multiple projects at the same time) Locals and non-French speakers often overlooked for leadership roles Toxic internal politics and backstabbing are common, particularly among expats who have no understanding or respect to the local culture (the firm has Lebanese, Indians, and Spanish partners, not a single local) High consulting fees not always aligned with delivery quality Lacks specialization in consulting; often outpaced by more focused competitors. Firm has not kept pace with modern consulting standards or innovation

Pros

I am a consultant through a firm acquired by Korn Ferry and have had a great experience with both the firm (Salo) and with Korn Ferry as a parent company. Great to have benefits and PTO as a consultant and great training and resources available - good communication as well!

Cons

Transitional period during acquisition had a few bumps but nothing major and all ironed out as more time has gone on.

Pros

The client diversity across industries and regions is top notch. Great brand recognition. The marketing investments in Korn Ferry Tour and LA28 paid off. Smart people. Remote work is a plus as 75% people work remotely. No push for facetime in offices. Work from anywhere! Everyone knows of Korn Ferry!

Cons

A culture of long hours and interrupted vacations. Clear demarcation between haves(fee earners) and have nots (execution). High expectations with outdated systems, manual processes, inefficient. Low pay as there are no merits due to market/company performance. Hard to get food at the holiday party so stop at Five Guys prior.
