Pros

CEO with great vision and direction, great colleagues, fantastic IPs and knowledge capital, wonderful infrastructure in all LOBs

Cons

The global management seems to be clueless on how to run a global firm. The context, challenges in non US countries is different and they need to understand this if they want to grow the business When the outlook is not good there seems to be a strong sense of panic and frantic. Everyone is asked to sell more (the what) without clear direction on the how (changes in how we operate to optimize sales etc) and more roadblocks of layers of approvals + constant back and forth of trying to explain context to people who clearly doesnt have any clue of what they’re doing (finance people) makes effort in growing the business is close to impossible The firm seems to value their finance people more than its top Partners/Performers. I have worked in 3 global consulting firm prior to this who have at least double the size of KF, and never see a firm being manage with such a strong sense of frantic + no empowerment to the people who actually generate business to them.

Pros

I am a consultant through a firm acquired by Korn Ferry and have had a great experience with both the firm (Salo) and with Korn Ferry as a parent company. Great to have benefits and PTO as a consultant and great training and resources available - good communication as well!

Cons

Transitional period during acquisition had a few bumps but nothing major and all ironed out as more time has gone on.

Pros

Work from home gives flexibility, time off is good.

Cons

No raises ever, bonuses are not a motivator nor an indicator of the work you do. No one seems to know why you receive the bonus you do, it is just from a spreadsheet handed to your direct manager who apparently has no influence in the decision. Raises never happen and no one can answer if they are coming or not—you just never get one.
