Pros

Nothing comes to my mind

Cons

For a small startup,I was really suprised how bad things are. Initially I thought my manager is bad then started working with people in other regions. I realised good people which are moving company forward leave in 1 or two years. On the other hand nasty , backstabing employees stay and thrive. I strongly advice against seeking employment in this company unless you like backstabing , politicing, working with idiots, bullying, racism, sexism and stealing , you found your dream company. The higher you go in the management the worse it gets.

Thank you for your note. Again, we respect the platform, but when a former employee is this angry and is making false and serious claims (I sense a campaign) about bullying, racism, sexism and stealing, I have to call the post out as untrue. Of course, if you have any evidence to the contrary, we invite you to reach out to the HR or Legal team directly, so that you can air your grievances in a forum that enables us to investigate. All claims are investigated thoroughly and addressed appropriately by our Global HR and Legal teams, whose jobs are to ensure that Kong is abiding by local laws and making Kong a place where people can do their best work. I am truly sorry that Kong did not work out for you. We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors.

Pros

The thing that stands out most at Kong is the people. This is genuinely one of the most talented, driven, and collaborative groups I've worked with — and that's not just within my immediate team. Kong has built a truly global team, and the diversity of perspective and experience you get from that is something you can feel in day-to-day work. The product speaks for itself. Kong is solving real, complex problems in the AI connectivity space, and there's a shared sense of purpose around what we're building. It's the kind of place where you actually believe in what you're selling, which makes a big difference. Culture is something a lot of companies talk about but few actually invest in. Kong's COURAGE core values aren't just words on a wall — they come up in real conversations and shape how decisions get made. Leadership is visible, engaged, and genuinely cares about the team.

Cons

Like any high-growth tech company, the pace is fast and there's always more work to do than hours in the day. If you thrive in ambiguity and like to move quickly, that's energizing — but it can be a lot if you're looking for a slow and steady environment.
