Pros
Decent benefits, nice coworkers, lots of schedule flexibility and there were always employees that could cover your shift, and they offer benefits for cashiers when they get an application (credit).
Cons
As a cashier, immense pressure to have people open Kohl's Charges. Management never satisfied; bullied those who do not do as well. Sometimes they would publicly humiliate those who were not performing as well on credit by writing who underachieved on the good morning sheets they have every morning to tell employees where they are in their departments. They do not take into consideration effort; all they want are results and will guilt employees regardless of how hard they try and work. The incentive for credit applications if less than a dollar most days and there are no real benefits for the sales floor people because they are never on a register. Unfair rewards because they base everything on earning credit apps.
