Pros

Small Discount, Clean bathrooms, Lockers with locks, Some nice Co-workers.

Cons

1 to RARELY 2 people to close each large department, Hours as 6-11pm or 8pm to 12am, Minimum wage pay, Maximum headache of customers, Bare-bone scheduled employees, Work load of 4 for 1 person, Sales associates must always ring on the register when necessary, No commission, Unpaid Lunch, 4-6 hour shifts, Dreadful music playlist, Dressing room disasters, No coverage all day to come in at 6pm to mess and pressed to hurry completion, Management delegated but never demonstrated teamwork, 16 hour work week but worked 4 days a week, VERY unrelastic goals, Unflexible scheduling, Your hours get dropped to 4 hours a week randomly, Understaffing caused over worked employees, Dead-end job, Misses, Juniors and Kids department is hard to work in, 1 to 2 sales associates cover 3-4 departments in morning hours to save payroll.

Pros

managers can be friendly at times

Cons

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
