Pros
Weekly pay and definite job security. Hefty retention bonus and referral bonuses for warehouse. Pay is better than some places I have worked, but still low compared to cost of living.
Cons
Major favoritism shown to nationalities other than American. If you are American be prepared to be last in line for promotions and training needed to get your knowledge bases pay raises. Safety is preached, but not practiced where it really matters. Condition of forklifts is terrible. Safety mechanisms on docks do not work in Recieving docks. Had 2 trailers pull away with forklift on board in the last 6 months and still they are not repaired. Safety department doesn't seem to be doing anything to fix problems that could really injure or kill someone. Forklifts are tagged out, but put back into service without being fixed. ( taggs are often removed by supervisors and other operators on different shift to meet loding/unloading demands. )
