As you make some very strong allegations here I believe it's important to add perspective by being transparent: 1. We've had a client project deadline for the first week of January and decided to outsource some of our tasks to a contractor for 3 weeks (with the possibility to extend by a week) to reduce the overall stress and workload of our employees before Christmas and New Year's Eve. Due to limited time available, we skipped our usual screening process and moved forward with your contractor agreement - in hindsight we've learned our lesson that we shouldn't do that. From the beginning, we had a software engineer on your side to help you with onboarding to the project, incl. understanding of the codebase and requirements for each deliverable. I believe our team was very patient with you - both from explaining and planning tasks with you as well as giving you continuous advice and feedback on how to deliver your project in good quality. In the end, we've had to make the decision to end the working relationship as our quality standards didn't align with the quality of the delivered work. We take full responsibility for that as we should have resolved that matter with our screening process before setting up a work agreement. 2. We've paid the full amount for your work agreement in advance to your agency and always fulfilled our contractual agreement. To approve the hours you've billed us I've asked for timesheets that contain start time, lunch break, and end time for each working day - something you didn't have. And even though these were missing, we've agreed to pay the entire amount that you billed us. You've never been asked to track toilet breaks, and we never made you work on public holidays.
