Pros
Decent based salary for entry level position
Cons
For clarity this is the first time in 10 years I have ever left a job a review (a bad one at that) While experiences may vary across teams and locations, the one in which I was employed was terrible. There is such an incredibly high turnover rate where people are either being fired or leaving in less than a year of work. -There are unrealistic quotas to meet with 10 clients every week, and five of those meetings have to be in person. For clarity, these are not warm handovers in which we had previous relations with companies, and our supervisors are introducing us. We were hired for account management and then upon joining had to also do our own business development, with no support. By the way, those in-person client meetings, 5 per week, require you to come out of pocket and wait two weeks to be reimbursed. In addition, when hired, my team was told that we would be remote. Within a few days of working, we were told that we have to come in and work once a week. After that, we were told to come in once a month, then once a week, then twice a week (all in one year). While some teams received supervisory support, and there is clear favoritism, others were not guided at all for their success by their direct supervisors. - For those who aren’t into the frat culture, this company is not for you. You are expected to eat, sleep, and breathe Kforce. Including going to last-minute parties on your weekends off where you can expect illegal substances to be present. - Some managers are HR nightmares. One such manager enjoyed trying to intimate employees, making them feel as if they constantly have to walk on eggshells, show up to weekend events, and go hit ridiculous quotas. Mind you when you go to them for professional support or advice, they never even show up or they direct you to someone else on the team that isn’t able to help you. - There was one supervisor in particular, who is probably the main problem regarding the information I’ve provided . This person also displayed inappropriate friendly relationships with some of their team members, who you were a lot younger than them. - And forget actually caring about the clients. If you could only hear how they spoke about some of their business partners. There are so many other experiences I’ve had that I think I’ve tried to block it out so I can’t recount them all. All I can end with is that this is an absolutely awful company, with a terrible culture, that mismanages expectations of employees, and is an overall terrible place to work.
