Pros
Amazing training, keyence will give you immediate respect in the industry if you have it on your resume. People will assume you know what you’re talking about
Cons
I understand the industry is mostly men but keyence has made no effort to change their old school ways and promote hiring women. they simply do not care. As a young women starting there you quickly become brainwashed into accepting some sexist behaviors from the immature new grads around you. You will work 10x harder to earn respect. The culture of the company does not care about their employees or their careers. Since leaving for a more progressive company I can say with certainty that keyence is behind on the times and is grossly mismanaged by the men that show no respect for supporting women in this industry. Also don’t be fooled by how much money they keep reiterating you’re making. It’s basically propaganda. They don’t allow you to add bonuses to your 401k contribution which also means that’s a decent amount of money that’s not matched. Overall pay is better at other companies that also provide perks.
