Pros
Your coworkers are some of the nicest, most competent people out there. They do good work (across all teams!), and the engineering is top notch. The code base is organized, and engineers have the autonomy to try bold new projects. Free food in the kitchen.
Cons
It used to be a "work hard, play hard" kind of place, but has turned into "work hard, then go home." Over the years, upper management has slowly killed the perks that made KeyMe such a great place. Friday afternoon drinks, generous vacation time, and flexible work schedules are gone. The budgets for company outings, yearly parties, etc. have not kept pace with headcount. There hasn't been hot water for months because the water heater broke and upper management decided it wasn't worth fixing. As the company grows, outside people are brought in for new senior roles, so not much chance of career advancement.
