Pros
I grew more as a professional at KBD than I did at all my previous jobs combined. It can be stressful and the clients can be intense, but if you take it in stride, you can learn a ton.
While the project load can be demanding, the company is pretty generous when it comes to time off and having a flexible schedule - especially important if you have kids.
It’s a small business. So if you are adaptable and open to wearing lots of hats, this could be a good fit for you. It pays well and the benefits are really solid.
Overall, there are a lot of good people at KBD (both personal and professional), and I’m grateful for my time there. There are a number of really extreme reviews the previous employees that were either laid off or dismissed. While there is always room for growth and improvement, it’s certainly not what others have made it out to be.
Cons
It’s a remote work environment, so if you’re looking for tons of personal time with coworkers, it may not be the right environment for you.
