      Stay away - Product Manager Kapitus Employee Review

      Pros

      Doesnt apply...this is a sales boiler room masquerading as a Fintech. Join only if you want to work long hours at 30% below the market price. Benefits are a joke. 15 meetings in 8 hours back to back each and every day...all lunches are expected to be consumed inside the meetings...forget actually having a lunch break.

      Cons

      Utterly incompetent CTO and CPO. All staff are overworked and grossly underpaid. HR's job is to protect management, all staff are utterly disposable. Both Technology and Product teams have been swapped out 3 times in as many years. Noone wants to work in these departments...everyone who makes a mistake and joins this company are looking for jobs 6 months after joining. All complaints to HR are swept under the rug. The worst internal politics ...everyone decision requires 10 meetings and discussion...typical way for CTO/CPO to never take any actual responsibility. The goal is not to accomplish anything...the goal is not to be blamed for failures. Staff are always made out as scapegoats fir the failures of these 2 so-called "executives".

      Pros

      Kapitus is a growing organization that has been continuously improving its operation and culture. It's remote, the management teams have empathy for people and the internal feedback about working here is all positive. Reading these reviews it leads me to believe that the negative reviews are by employees who couldn't quite navigate the rapid change and are not flexible in style or accepting of feedback because my experience at kapitus is unlike any of these reviews. I have been here 6 years and I am very glad that I have gotten to see the growth and change and I can assure anyone reading this that the changes made are positive and for the better.

      Cons

      I would say the only con is that communication moves fast and sometimes changes in strategy or direction is slow to find its way down the communication channel.

      Pros

      I absolutely love working at Kapitus. The culture is one of the best parts of the company, it truly has a family feel. My managers are supportive, approachable, and always willing to help, and my teammates work very well together. There is a real sense of collaboration here, and everyone is focused on helping each other succeed. The benefits are great, and the overall work environment is positive and encouraging. I feel valued in my role, and it’s clear that the company cares about its employees. It’s refreshing to be part of a team where people communicate well, work hard, and genuinely support one another. As with most collections companies, the end of the month can be stressful, and there are times when the volume of work can feel a little overwhelming. That said, the team always pulls together, and the work gets done. The busy periods are manageable because of the strong teamwork and support from leadership.       High-volume tasks can occasionally feel overwhelming End-of-month deadlines can be stressful, which is common in collections
