Upper management seems aloof as they're far away in Melbourne. External sites feel neglected Poor middle and lower management reflected by bad communication and lack of organisation resulting in frequent scheduling issues and daily chaos Teachers are expected to do administrative roles on top of teaching duties Teachers are frequently treated as adversaries by client, resulting in a toxic work environment Prison can be a very difficult workplace at times simply because of the nature of corrections Many students are unmotivated/unwilling to participate in activities Lack of room Poor resources Workplace health and safety comes second to achieving KPIs
