Hello - we would like to thank you for the time taken to review your trial. As you have been informed by email on October 3, your trial performance was paused and went under review (which has not been complete as of today, October 24). We understand that you were looking for an urgent or fast-track (hire) decision but our trials are carefully reviewed by the team. We have never claimed a fast-track performance/hire decision was to be expected.
As the readers of your review might have noted, during the trials, we are looking for applicants who fit in our company, who value our team members, who do not dismiss our way of working and the time of our colleagues (we are sorry our feedback was so annoying to you), we are looking for people who are able to accept feedback and act on it, who do not demand instant answers while ignoring feedback and requests.
Thank you for recognizing that you did receive a lot of feedback over your trial period calls. Unfortunately, as you explain further, even after more than 2 hours of calls with our team you did not understand very well what actions were expected of you. This is totally OK. This is what a trial month is for - to see how well (or not) we work together. This goes both ways. The trial gives us and you the opportunity to assess our fit.
It is against our policy to discuss performance during an ongoing review, thus your latest request to have additional calls while the trial period review is ongoing could not be met with the expected urgency and can only be answered after the review is complete.
We would like to point out that you were benefiting from our policy to be compensated for the test projects and assessment exercises during the trial. Many companies do not pay for the time during assessment stages but it was our decision to offer compensation even though we ask for no minimum commitment. The trial month also explicitly allowed you to keep all other commitments (that during your interview you assured us you had). The general feedback we receive is that our compensation approach for the trials is fair and we are sorry to see that you considered this a wage that you were subscribed for.
You can send a message to people@kalinax.com to understand what is the expected day for the one-time compensation for the trial period to be processed. This payment is a one-off and not a salary/wage that you should expect going forward.
Regarding your claim that you our company scammed you, we sincerely hope that you did not mean it.
We remain here and on people@ for any further clarifications. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
