Pros
Many social activities. It's the continuation of school life. 90% of employees are 22-25 years old. Managers are like friends because they are 25 years old. Work is simple- scraping contacts from linkedin and interviewing them, taking notes when Managers talk to clients and creating power point presentations. Great place if you like research. Fast career progression- Expect promotion every year and become manager in 3 years. People have become Principal in 3 years starting as Associate Consultant but that requires boot licking.
Cons
Micromanagement is the rule. Weekend and overnight work expected. Salary way under industry standard. VPs and above taking home all the money. In 3 years, I have seen incompetent and arrogant people promoted because of their closeness to SVP.
