Pros

Nothing besides some of the staff.

Cons

Very high turnover. You are made to feel incompetent and are constantly belittled. Ownership does not know how to be leaders. They do not accept change very easily or at all. Be prepared for daily yelling. If you don’t mind a career setback, this is the place for you. Outdated programs and processes. The “we’re a family” is bs and you should run the moment you hear that. No flexibility whatsoever.

Pros

- Great Opportunity for Junior Interior Designers – The senior members of the design and architecture team are knowledgeable. They lend a great hand in guidance and mentoring those with some experience in the commercial/ corporate part of the design field. - This role, once learned and with a year of experience in, is very fulfilling. All job roles take time to acclimate to. In this role there is the opportunity to take ownership of some work and with the help of the design team, create very successful designs. - There is plenty of opportunity for networking within the A&D industry. How much or how little of that depends on the time put in by the individual in this role. - With clear and consistent communication, this role can be a flourishing one in relation to all the other team member roles in the office. One would get out what they put into this role, just like any other job position. - This is a mid-size firm, Great for those looking for personable, hands-on experience. There is the opportunity to be noticed and recognized here.

Cons

- Workload can be a lot at times, but project managers and ownership work with design and architecture teams to navigate through. - Can be tricky to plan PTO time due to team size, just need to communicate with team a bit more when planning personal time off.

Pros

Absolutely none . . unless you like smelling the owners gas . . .

Cons

Having the principal passing gas while he's talking to you!
